About Carrie

I have been practicing the healing arts for nearly 25 years. I was originally trained as a physical therapist and quickly discovered that my role as a healer was going to require a more integrative and holistic paradigm.

My personal practices foster my own self-awareness. My practices include mindfulness meditation for nearly 20 years, 10 years of qi gong and tai chi practice, 10 years of core shamanism study, and a lifetime of respect and connection to the sacred cycles of Mother Nature. I consider myself to be a continuous seeker of a fully embodied life.

My study has influenced my approach to healing. I believe that healing is truly transformational and alchemical, and involves change on all levels – physical, emotional, and spiritual.

I believe we are all on a continual growing path and are here to become more vital and embodied beings. You can develop your sense of curiosity as you pursue your own graceful healing and learning.

I will help you become more self-aware by creating the space that allows you to move toward and then through your own transformation. My work is based on the principles of The Feldenkrais Method® and the energetic principles of the ancient Daoist/Chinese system of Healing Qi Gong.
